My name is Ms. DiMaggio. I graduated from Oakland University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a double major in Language Arts and Social Studies. I recently obtained an Early Childhood Specialist endorsement on my teaching degree, as well. This is my third year teaching at GLA. I hope to instill a love of learning that will last throughout your child's years of schooling!

Currently I am working towards a master’s degree at Wayne State University, in special education. Mrs. Israilov graduated with the Teaching endorsement from the University of Detroit, Mercy and obtained her Master Degree in Special Education from Oakland University. She possesses Michigan Teaching Certificate in the subject areas of English, Russian and Learning Disabilities. In 1996, she began her teaching career at Montessori School and in 2003 she was recognized with the West Bloomfield District Award. She joined Great Lakes Academy as a Resource Room Teacher in the fall of 2006. Mrs. Israilov very involved with her responsibilities and has an intense desire to continue to support students with the special needs at Great Lakes Academy.
