Graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Oakland University with major in Mathematics and minors in Reading and Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. Graduated with a Master of Arts in Teaching Reading and Language Arts which qualifies me as a Reading Specialist. I have been teaching at Great Lakes Academy since 1997.
Julien Frazier, M.A, CCC-SLP
Mrs. Israilov graduated with the Teaching endorsement from the University of Detroit, Mercy and obtained her Master Degree in Special Education from Oakland University. She possesses Michigan Teaching Certificate in the subject areas of English, Russian and Learning Disabilities. In 1996, she began her teaching career at Montessori School and in 2003 she was recognized with the West Bloomfield District Award. She joined Great Lakes Academy as a Resource Room Teacher in the fall of 2006. Mrs. Israilov very involved with her responsibilities and has an intense desire to continue to support students with the special needs at Great Lakes Academy.
Grade 7/8 Multiage Teacher
I am excited about being a part of the Great Lakes Academy family! I absolutely love to work with children. I can’t wait to teach new things to students, as well as learn from my students. I received a Bachelor’s of Arts –English, at Oakland University; and I am continuing my education, soon to enroll in the Masters in Teaching Program. I am looking forward to a wonderful school year.
